Did you know there are Florida Statutes that apply to bicyclists? Many people, including cyclists, don't realize that there are specific laws that they must adhere to in order to keep themselves and others safe. For example, in most cases, "persons riding two abreast may not impede traffic when traveling at less than the normal speed of traffic at the time and place and under the conditions then existing and must ride within a single lane." Understanding the rules and regulations pertaining to any sport undertaken on public roads is beneficial to everyone.
