Giving Thanks

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and we at Beggs would like to take a moment to publicly focus on and share the things we are most grateful for.

Ted Beggs: I am grateful for God, family, and country. I deeply appreciate all the sacrifices our Veterans and Military have made, and I am thankful for the privilege of serving the communities of Monticello and Tallahassee.

Billy Johnson: While I am thankful every day for all my Lord and Savior has given me, Thanksgiving is a special day to take time to celebrate family. When I look around and see all those who are less fortunate, it makes me feel so blessed to have so much: a loving family, a home, the opportunity to work with such a wonderful, caring staff at Beggs, the honor of serving hurting families, and the great pleasure of living in a country that allows its citizens to worship as we choose and to be whatever we want.

Grace Johnson: I am thankful to have a good home and family and also a great job at Beggs. So many furbabies are homeless and need good homes. I am truly blessed.

Porky Bochnia: I am grateful I have God in my life, a loving wife, and good health. I’m also grateful I have a home and beautiful wildlife to enjoy while sitting outside on my porch.

Mildred Bochnia: How grateful I am for my family and for the many blessings I’ve had this past year. I am blessed with good health, a wonderful husband, many wonderful family members, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I'm thankful knowing I can always count on Him being there for me.

Andy Creel: I am thankful for family and friends who love me despite my shortcomings.

Ashli McCall: I am grateful to God for my family, the ones still here and the ones who've died. How precious they are and how beautiful the memories! I'm thankful I work at Beggs and get to help others. I'm grateful for all my days. The good ones have been awesome, and the bad ones have taught me my need for Jesus Christ, so they are all worthwhile. Finally, I'm grateful that God never gives up on me, that He will not break a bruised reed, and that one day, because Jesus Christ died to pay for my sins, I will get to be with Him and dance in His Light. What a glorious day that will be!
