Did you know that crafting can be a healthy, helpful part of the grieving process?


Here is a great article on crafting as a way of coping with grief. It even has a list of emotions and suggested creative craft ideas (complete with video tutorials) at the end.


It's a great time to explore this subject as March is National Craft Month. To get you started, here is a very easy craft suitable for gift giving:


Find a picture frame you like. Remove the glass. Paint the frame any way you like. After the paint dries, replace the glass and insert a white (or light colored) piece of paper. VOILA! You now have a beautiful, custom dry erase board! The glass won't stain with dry erase marker, and it erases smoothly and easily.
